Protocol

Protocol are an Electronic Music duo from Belfast, Ireland consisting of John Walls and Paul Smyth. Initially formed in 2002 running a series of Protocol Presents events in Belfast which saw the likes of  Bam Bam, D.A.V.E The Drummer, Paul Langley, Mark Hawkins, Guy ‘The Geezer’ McGaffer and a host of local talent take to the turntables across Belfast.

After a long hiatus Protocol reunited in late 2018 this time as a Live Electronic Act.  The live performance is based on influences ranging from electro, ghetto tech and techno.

2019 saw Protocol perform at AVA and Celtronic  as part of emerging talent programmes with releases pending for 2021.
